“Family Style Love for Plates Too Full”
Sermon given by Pastor Robb on October 11, 2026.
Continues the fall What Love Looks Like in Low Places sermon series.
Covers Psalm 143 and Matthew 14.
It is all too common for life to be crazy and overwhelming. We can experience great loss, crisis, and anxiety for any number of reasons. Very often, a primary struggle ends up bringing along with it all kinds of extra tasks or personal expectations beyond just what we want to be able to focus on by itself. Jesus himself experienced exactly these circumstances, and that can mean a lot to us not only for God’s empathy of our challenges, but that we see God building salvation and the Kingdom to offer a way of life that meets us in our struggles and carries us through with God’s family to know a kind of thriving even in the depths.
